Gala Impact & Giving Back

Over the past two years, the Live Like Samson Gala has brought our community together to honor Samson’s life while raising critical funds to support families in need. Through ticket sales, donations, raffles, and community generosity, these events have transformed remembrance into meaningful action.

Together, our Galas have raised over $20,000 to directly support families.

Because of our supporters, Live Like Samson has been able to provide assistance to families facing unexpected medical expenses, funeral costs, and financial hardship, as well as to supply children in our community with school supplies and backpacks.

How the Funds Were Used

Through the generosity of our donors and sponsors, Live Like Samson has been able to give back in meaningful and direct ways, including:

$3,000 provided to families impacted by the Chicago Lakes accident
$12,000 invested in children’s needs, including socks, shoes, clothing, and school supplies
Skating association fees covered for three children, allowing them to participate in youth sports
Support provided to many other families in need during times of hardship and loss
